Eastern View put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Chancellor Chargers a 12-0 shutout. Considering the Cyclones have won three games by more than seven runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Ashlynn Settle was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Settle was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances. She also brought in an RBI, marking her first of the season.
In other batting news, Eastern View got a massive performance out of Sara Hopper, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, four RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases Hopper has posted since back in April of 2024. Addison Fick was another key player, scoring three runs while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
Eastern View always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .767. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
