Volleyball Recap: Rice Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rice, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They blew past the Mexia Black Cats 3-0 on Tuesday. The Bulldogs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 19th (when they won 3-0).

Rice walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-22, 25-15, 27-25.

The win got Rice back to even at 10-10. As for Mexia, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Looking ahead, Rice will challenge Cross Roads at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mexia, they will host Fairfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
