Forest Lake Christian has not had much luck with Victory Christian recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Forest Lake Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brendan Hooper, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Caleb Fenton, who scored eight points along with eight rebounds and three blocks.
Forest Lake Christian bumped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Victory Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-10 record this season.
Forest Lake Christian won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Woodland Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th. Hopefully Woodland Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 last Friday. As for Victory Christian, they will head out on the road to challenge Foresthill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
