When it comes to explaining why Elbert County lost, one person who can't be blamed is Grady Jones. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Jones is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Boaz Goodman, who scored nine points.
Elbert County's defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Tallulah Falls, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16.
