In what's become a running theme this season, Champaign Central gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Monday. They put the hurt on the MacArthur Generals with a sharp  19-1 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Champaign Central.
  Haley Helm and  Tayten Hunter were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound,  Helm   tossed two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Meanwhile,  Hunter   pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. At the plate,  Helm  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI and two  doubles, while  Hunter  got on base  in all four of her plate appearances with a  home run, four  runs,  and five  RBI.
 In other batting news, Champaign Central got a  massive  performance out of  Mya de la Cruz, who  got on base  in three of her four plate appearances with a  home run and three  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kaitlyn Helm, who  scored four  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 On MacArthur's side, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  OLIVIA TYNDALL, who  went 1-for-2 with  an  RBI.
 Champaign Central has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games,  which provided a massive bump to their 9-8-1 record  this season. As for MacArthur, they dropped their record down to 5-11 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Champaign Central will stay at home for another  game and welcome St. Teresa at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Champaign Central is facing St. Teresa at the right time seeing as St. Teresa is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak. As for MacArthur, they will head out on the road to  take on  Jacksonville at 4:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. MacArthur is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 9.5  runs per game  this season.
