This season hasn't been kind to the Bethel Christian Academy Eagles, who are still winless after their 13th match. They fell 47-37 to Temple Baptist on Tuesday. Bethel Christian Academy has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Bethel Christian Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Levi Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Logan Callahan was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.
Even though they lost, Bethel Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. This was only their tenth loss (out of ten games) when they hit their own glass that hard.
Bethel Christian Academy dropped their record down to 0-13 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Temple Baptist, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Bethel Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against the at 7:00 p.m. Temple Baptist does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
