Starting off the list is Boys Town's Darien Whitaker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Whitaker made seven total tackles (1.0 for loss), good enough to also set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. Roncalli Catholic was sadly handed a defeat on Friday, but Jackson Post did his best to prevent it. Boys Town had no answer to Post as he picked up 114 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 71 yards.
On the year, Post has caught 3 touchdowns while averaging 43.1 receiving yards per game.
