The Austin Maroons have not won a game since January 23rd, a trend which continued on Friday. They and Anderson finished up their contest with a 2-2 draw. That draw made it three straight for Austin.
They avoided a loss thanks to
Dylan Rochlen and
Vincent Morales, who posted both of Austin's goals. The pair have combined for a total of nine so far this season.
Austin's draw makes their record 10-4-3 this season. Meanwhile, Anderson's record is now 6-2-3.
Austin will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Dripping Springs at 7:45 p.m. Austin's last three games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Anderson, they will head out on the road to square off against Bowie at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Bowie will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Anderson surely won't give up without a fight.
