The Holy Rosary Academy Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a rough 67-38 loss at the hands of Tanalian. Holy Rosary Academy lost against Tanalian in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 40-38 score last time.
Tanalian found their leader in underclassman Erik McGee, who scored 41 points. Another player making a difference was Noah Davis , who scored nine points.
Holy Rosary Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Tanalian, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.
Holy Rosary Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Lumen Christi on January 29th. Tanalian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
