Ridgeland has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Ringgold Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Ringgold took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Ridgeland, who comes in off a win.
Ridgeland posted their biggest victory since December 9, 2023 on Saturday. They put the hurt on Southeast Whitfield County with a sharp 86-63 win. The win was just what Ridgeland needed coming off of a 77-41 defeat in their prior match.
Ridgeland's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Chase Hickman, who scored 15 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. Hickman hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was John Hill, who scored 25 points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Ringgold came up short against LaFayette on Tuesday and fell 56-48.
Ridgeland's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Ringgold, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
Ridgeland couldn't quite finish off Ringgold in their previous meeting back in December of 2023 and fell 53-51. Can Ridgeland avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
