Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Crestwood). They breezed by the Cardinal Huskies to the tune of 64-37 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Red Devils who have now won six games in a row.

Hannah Ward continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 for 19 on her way to 23 points along with five rebounds and four steals. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Livia Martini was another key player, putting up four points in addition to nine steals and five assists.

Crestwood smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.

Crestwood has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.9 points per game. As for Cardinal, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crestwood has already played their next game (against Springfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Cardinal will square off against St. John at 2:15 p.m. on Saturday.
