Coral Academy of Science - Reno played a tough match on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 47-25 to the Pershing County Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 46-13 back in December of 2024.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alexa Lupercio, who posted nine points. The dominant performance gave Lupercio a new career-high in points. Teleina Smith was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

Pershing County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Riley Harvey, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Aaliyah Allen, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Pershing County, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.
