It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Brownstown Bombers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They really took it to the Minutemen for the full four quarters, racking up a 57-24 victory at home. Brownstown has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 22 points or more this season.
Among those leading the charge was Jayna Ireland, who scored 18 points. It was the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Lexi Seabaugh was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
The victory made it two in a row for Brownstown and bumps their season record up to 25-7. As for Bunker Hill, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-24.
Brownstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bunker Hill also has no future games currently scheduled.
