Westview won against Gibson County  last Monday with three  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Tuesday. The Westview Chargers never let the Crockett County Cavaliers onto the board and left with  a   3-0  victory. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Westview.
  McCall Simms made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run and  only two  hits while striking out 14 over five innings pitched. Simms has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances. Simms was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Alexis Evans was  excellent,  going 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Westview has  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matches,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record  this season. As for Crockett County, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.
 Westview didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  2-1  win vs. Ripley on the 18th. Crockett County has also already played their next contest,  a  15-5  defeat against Houston on the 17th.
