The Fishers Tigers will face off against the Hamilton Southeastern Royals at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Fishers and Yorktown meet (three straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Thursday. Fishers' pitcher stepped up to hand Yorktown a 6-0 shutout. Fishers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Kate Murray, who gave up just four hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep Yorktown off the board. Murray has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Adrianne Cook, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Brooke Clayton, who got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Hamilton Southeastern not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 28th (when they won 10-3). Everything went their way against Lawrence North as they made off with a 7-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Royals.
Carly McCall made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. McCall was also big at the plate, earning one run and two stolen bases.
McCall wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Natavia Wright, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run. Chloe Smith also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.
Fishers pushed their record up to 10-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Hamilton Southeastern, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Both Fishers and Hamilton Southeastern just can't seem to miss. The Tigers have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Hamilton Southeastern struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 4.2 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
