The result was an unpleasant reminder to Legacy Charter of the 42-41 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Despite the loss, Legacy Charter still got an impressive performance from Mallory Daniels, who scored 19 points along with three steals. Daniels is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Legacy Charter's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Mount Dora, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.
Legacy Charter will take on Ridgeview Global Studies Academy at TBD on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Florida (Ridgeview Global Studies Academy is ranked 542nd, while Legacy Charter is ranked 564th). As for Mount Dora, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crooms Academy at 6:00 p.m. on February 2nd.
