Basketball Recap: Menaul Piles Up the Points Against Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy

On Tuesday, the Menaul Panthers took their game with ease, bagging a 75-44 win over the Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy Eagles.

Menaul can attribute much of their success to J'Quan Samuels, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Samuels a new career-high in assists (two). Another player making a difference was Talen Lucero, who posted two points along with six assists, five boards, and five steals.

Menaul's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 12 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.

Menaul wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 53-6 win against Monte Del Sol Charter on the 29th. Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy has also already played their next game, a 72-23 loss against Legacy Academy on the 30th.
