Rivercrest is on a five-game streak of home wins, while Warren is on a ten-game streak of away wins (dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The Rivercrest Colts will take on the Warren Lumberjacks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Rivercrest had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on Arkadelphia with a sharp 36-12 win on Friday.
Koby Turner continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 168 yards and three touchdowns. Turner hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for five straight games.
Meanwhile, Warren has more to be thankful for after their matchup against Ozark on Friday. Warren breezed by Ozark on the road to the tune of 45-7. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 38-7.
Their wins bumped Rivercrest to 11-2 and Arkadelphia to 7-4.
Rivercrest took their win against Warren when the teams last played back in December of 2020 by a conclusive 55-35. Does Rivercrest have another victory up their sleeve, or will Warren turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
