North Delta had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They put the hurt on the Carroll Academy Rebels with a sharp 13-1 victory on Thursday. The Green Wave might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Owens Johnson made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Johnson was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Karson Ware, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Herron Williams was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

North Delta always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .645. The last time their OBP was this high was back in February.

North Delta's win bumped their record up to 21-10. As for Carroll Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.

As of now, neither North Delta nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
