The Goessel Bluebirds will stay at home for another game and welcome the Classical Saints at 6:00 p.m. on February 13th. Goessel has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Goessel can now show off eight landslide victories after their most recent match on Friday. Everything went their way against Herington as Goessel made off with a 46-21 victory.
Meanwhile, Classical was able to grind out a solid win over School of the Ozarks on Saturday, taking the game 43-36. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Classical.
Classical got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Nevi Wilkey out in front who scored 20 points along with four steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which Wilkey has scored at least a third of Classical's points. Flannery Black was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five steals.
Goessel is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Classical, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home.
