Two dominant players in Lia Carter and Nashara McNeil-Watlington are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. Carter was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for her. Jada Scott was another key contributor, scoring four points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Triton scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They breezed by Southern Lee on the road to the tune of 77-15. That 77-15 margin sets a new team best for Triton this season.
Jordan-Matthews' victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Triton, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.
