The Las Lomas Knights posted their biggest win since December 27, 2023 on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 84-42 win over Berean Christian on the road. Given Las Lomas' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 266th, while Berean Christian is ranked 941st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Julian Vaucher was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with five rebounds and two steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Devinney, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Las Lomas' win ended a six-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-10. As for Berean Christian, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
Las Lomas will be playing in front of their home fans against Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Berean Christian, they will head out on the road to take on Miramonte at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
