KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate was outmatched by Lynn English at home and fell 101-44. KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 56-16.
Lynn English had a senior duo take command as Kyle Kemembin dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds and Pierre Veras scored 23 points along with five rebounds and four steals. The contest was Kemembin's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Joshua Anderson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Lynn English, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate will take on Lynn Vo-Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Lynn Vo-Tech is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Lynn English, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lynn Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lynn Classical is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
