The Heritage Patriots's game on Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They came out on top against Eastside by a score of 51-44. This was payback for Heritage, who suffered a 76-60 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Kirk Seeley was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Heritage's points. Gary Oliver was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Heritage's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Eastside, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-3.
Heritage will head out on the road to face off against Loganville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Loganville is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak. Eastside will be home for the holidays to greet Clarke Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
