Andrews Osborne Academy is  a perfect 3-0 against Medina Christian Academy since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Phoenix will face off against the Knights at 5:00  p.m. Andrews Osborne Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.8  runs per game  this season.
Andrews Osborne Academy barely beat St. Martin de Porres the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Phoenix blew past the Lions 12-2 on Tuesday. The Phoenix haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive  win against them.
 Iris Parker made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only  one  hit while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Parker was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Izzy Schuller and  Alle Royer did most of the damage at the plate:  Schuller  went 3-for-4 with three  runs, three  doubles,  and two  RBI, while  Royer  went 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Royer also put up a  double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Marley Novak, who  went 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  stolen base.
 Andrews Osborne Academy  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .618. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Medina Christian Academy played against Dalton last Wednesday and lost via forfeit.
 Andrews Osborne Academy pushed their record up to 6-5 with the  victory, which was their sixth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 16.3 runs over those games. As for Medina Christian Academy,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-6.
 Andrews Osborne Academy took their  victory against Medina Christian Academy  in their previous meeting  two weeks ago by a conclusive  21-4 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
