When it comes to explaining why Jacobs lost, one person who can't be blamed is Treval Howard. Despite the final result, he scored 19 points. The matchup was Howard's 12th in a row with at least ten points. Max Fessler was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Jacobs has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Prospect, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.
Jacobs will be home for the holidays to greet Johnsburg on Saturday. As for Prospect, they will head out on the road to face off against Elk Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Elk Grove has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 20.
