Hannah-Pamplico has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Green Sea Floyds Trojans at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Carolina (Hannah-Pamplico is ranked 243rd, while the Trojans are ranked 225th).
Last Tuesday, things could have been worse for Hannah-Pamplico, but they could have been a whole lot better as they took a 50-32 loss to the Vikings. Hannah-Pamplico was down 43-17 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Green Sea Floyds struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Tuesday (the Wild Gators were 24% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Green Sea Floyds was beaten by the Wild Gators 46-16. Green Sea Floyds was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-4.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Paris McClellan, who scored six points.
Hannah-Pamplico's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Green Sea Floyds, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.
Hannah-Pamplico was able to grind out a solid victory over the Trojans in their previous meeting back in January, winning 48-37. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Green Sea Floyds' Tanisha Myers, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine rebounds.
