The Klahowya Eagles were the 64-37 winner over the Charles Wright Tarriers when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Klahowya fell 59-50 to Charles Wright on Friday.
Klahowya's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Eli Kraft, who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds, and Carson Langguth who scored 13 points along with five steals. Kraft scored a full 34% of Klahowya's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Micah Meehan was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Klahowya's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Charles Wright, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Klahowya will be home for the holidays to greet Crosspoint at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Charles Wright will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Summit Classical Christian School at 3:00 p.m. on December 28th.
