Montgomery Catholic relied on the efforts of Hannah Smith, who scored 23 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals, and Heaven Bailey, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bailey has scored all season. Joanna Marlow was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds and five steals.
Bullock County's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-12. As for Montgomery Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season.
Bullock County took a serious blow against Montgomery Catholic when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 79-30.
