Dexter is a perfect 4-0 against Sandia Prep since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Demons will host the Sundevils at 3:00 p.m. Dexter is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Dexter is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Albuquerque just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 9-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs.

Hannah Sanders made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is on a roll when it comes to RBI, as she's now brought in three or more in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Melody Duran, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 20 runs the game before, Sandia Prep was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They came up short against Ruidoso, falling 7-1. The Sundevils have struggled against the Warriors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Dexter's loss dropped their record down to 19-2. As for Sandia Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-17.

Sandia Prep's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Dexter has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 9.8 hits per game. It's a different story for Sandia Prep, though, as they've been averaging 12.7 hits. Given Dexter's sizable advantage in that area, the Sundevils will need to find a way to close that gap.

Dexter took their win against Sandia Prep when the teams last played on Tuesday by a conclusive 15-0 score. Do the Demons have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Sundevils turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
