White waltzed into their game on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They were the clear victors by a 21-0 margin over the Sunset Bison. The result was nothing new for the Longhorns, who have now won 14 contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Whitney Foster was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one earned run any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

In other batting news, White let Elizabeth Martin and Morgan Young run wild. Martin scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2, while Young scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. That's the most stolen bases Young has posted since back in March of 2024. Ilianna Garibaldi was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

White was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .667. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .350 or higher in five consecutive matches.

White's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-10-1. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 16.0 runs over those games. As for Sunset, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.

Coming up, White will face off against Adamson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Leopards have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.11 runs per game on average), something the Longhorns will no doubt try to take advantage of. Sunset does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
