Duchesne is 8-1 against North Sevier since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Duchesne Eagles will be playing at home against the North Sevier Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Duchesne won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Wednesday. They suffered a rough 74-54 defeat at the hands of Gunnison Valley.
Meanwhile, North Sevier's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their 13th straight defeat. They took a 62-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of North Summit. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Duchesne's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-9. As for North Sevier, their loss was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-17.
Duchesne skirted past North Sevier 37-35 in their previous meeting back in January. Will Duchesne repeat their success, or does North Sevier have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
