Lodi extended the longest winning streak in Capitol - North this week by beating Poynette, 31-10. The win marks sixth in a row for the the Blue Devils.
Lodi made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,990 from 2,297. The improvement was largely due to a 31-10 victory over the Pumas last week.
Lake Mills's Collin Moen and Brandon Rue have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Moen has thrown for 824 yards this season, while Rue, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has 15 catches for 367 yards. Dave Puls' team's Garrett Bollant leads the league in rushing yards with 517.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Columbus takes on Lakeside Lutheran. The Cardinals are currently in second, while the Warriors are in third.
Columbus led Capitol - North in scoring this week by notching 47 points on the L-Cats.
