Independence is 0-8 against Nolensville since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Independence Eagles will head out on the road to take on the Nolensville Knights at 6:00 p.m. Independence is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games.
Last Friday, Independence got the win against Summit by a conclusive 59-37.
Independence got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Aaliyah Fleming out in front who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Fleming continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Savanna Seay was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and six assists.
Meanwhile, Nolensville came up short against Page on Friday and fell 49-38. Nolensville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Independence has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-13 record this season. As for Nolensville, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-10.
Independence came up short against Nolensville in their previous matchup back in January, falling 42-33. Can Independence avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
