There's no place like home for the Harrisburg Bulldogs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 69-58 victory over Marshall on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Brody Kueker and Chase Thompson certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Kueker scored 17 points along with nine rebounds, while Thompson scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Deacon Arends, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Harrisburg is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
Harrisburg will face off against Hallsville at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hallsville presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Harrisburg in Missouri (Hallsville is ranked 87th, while Harrisburg is ranked 242nd). As for Marshall, they will face off against Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Fulton's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three games.
