In what's become a running theme this season, the Pomeroy Pirates gave their fans yet another huge  win on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a  53-31 margin over Garfield-Palouse. The  victory was just what Pomeroy needed coming off of a  56-28 loss in their prior  matchup.
  Jett Slusser continued  his habit of posting crazy stat lines,  scoring 21 points along with eight  assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points  he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was  Trace Roberts, who  scored six points along with nine  rebounds.
 Pomeroy's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Garfield-Palouse, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.
 Pomeroy will be playing in front of their home fans against Tekoa-Rosalia at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. As for Garfield-Palouse, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Dayton at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
