Even though the Blackstone-Millville Chargers scored an imposing 55 points on Thursday, the Keefe Tech Broncos still came out on top. Keefe Tech walked away with a 62-55 victory over Blackstone-Millville. That's another feather in the cap for Keefe Tech, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Keefe Tech can attribute much of their success to George Anastos, who scored 19 points. Eidan Toppa was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ousman Touray, who scored 13 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Touray has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan McCourt, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Keefe Tech and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Blackstone-Millville, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Keefe Tech will finish 2023 at home by hosting Bristol County Agricultural at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Blackstone-Millville and Blue Hills RVT will round out the year against one another at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Blue Hills RVT will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
