AISA A Region 2 recap September 4, 2013
Marengo Academy moved up to 240 from 271 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in AISA A Region 2. The Longhorns were able to make move up by defeating South Choctaw Academy 34-6.
Jackson Academy took down Eastwood Christian 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. T.J. Griffin threw for 163 yards and 3 touchdowns, ran for 21 yards and caught 3 passes for 40 yards during the win.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Sumter Academy takes on second place Pickens Academy.
The Eagles led the league in scoring this week by notching 48 points on Eastwood Christian. Griffin in the win.
