The biggest upset of the week belonged to Sisseton, who took down 29th ranked Sisseton, 38-18.
Roncalli extended the longest winning streak in Northeast this week by beating Deuel, 27-6. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Webster's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Reid Valsvig threw for 21 yards and Spencer Rausch had 14 yards receiving. On the ground Andy Rithmiller chipped in 217 yards. Spencer Lux helped Webster's passing attack out by catching one ball for seven yards.
Webster's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Bearcats feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Valsvig has thrown for 445 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Rithmiller has seven catches for 193 yards. Rithmiller leads the league in rushing with 500 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Redmen take on Milbank/Grant-Deuel. At the moment, Sisseton is in fourth, while the Bulldogs are in third.
The Bearcats were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after beating Mobridge-Pollock 21-14. Webster came in at 20 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
