After a string of five wins, The Memorial Mustangs''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They received a tough blow as they fell 24-10 to Stratford. The low total for Memorial limited their streak of high-flying scores to four in a row.
Jackson Salters rushed for 49 yards and a touchdown. Robert Fowler was his top target, picking up 36 receiving yards. On the ground, Cooper Gindorf rushed for 101 yards.
It was another big night for Aaron Deleon, who threw for 279 yards and two touchdowns. Bo Harrison got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Another reason for the win was Stratford's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Leading the way was Nicolas Sen and his two sacks.
Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Stratford, their win was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 6-3.
