Given Sidney's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 51st, while Troy is ranked 300th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Troy still got an impressive performance from Kiyah Baker, who scored 5 points along with 9 rebounds and 3 steals.
Sidney's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Troy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sidney will take on Bath at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Troy, they will be playing at home against Tippecanoe at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday.
