Tucson High Magnet School was the  14-1 winner over West Point when they last played one another  back in March of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Tucson High Magnet School Badgers fell just short of the West Point Dragons by a score of  6-5 on Saturday.
  Jaden Leon made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On West Point's side, they got a great performance from  Jacob Ruan as he  tossed 4.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits (he also only allowed one  walk).
 At the plate,  Kenyer Martinez was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Kyle Pederson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 3-for-4.
 Tucson High Magnet School has  not been sharp recently as the team has  lost three of their last four games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 14-9 record  this season. As for West Point, their win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 10-18.
 Tucson High Magnet School will head out on the road to  face off against  Rincon/University at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Tucson High Magnet School is facing Rincon/University at the right time seeing as Rincon/University is stuck on  an  18-game losing streak. As for West Point, they will be playing at home against Shadow Ridge at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Shadow Ridge is coming into the  matchup with four straight  victories on the road,  so West Point will have to stop a  team with plenty of momentum.
