A classic East v. West matchup is on the schedule. The Western Guilford Hornets will be playing at home against the Southeast Guilford Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Western Guilford is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.1 points per game this season.
Last Thursday, Western Guilford ended up a good deal behind Northern Guilford and lost 55-37. The Hornets have struggled against the Nighthawks recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Southeast Guilford didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Northwest Guilford on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 50-45 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Falcons.
Western Guilford better keep an eye on Morgan Odom. She was instrumental in Southeast Guilford's win, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten boards. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Western Guilford has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 25.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Southeast Guilford struggles in that department as they've been averaging 33 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Western Guilford suffered a grim 75-55 defeat to Southeast Guilford in their previous matchup back in February of 2024.
