The Collins Tigers won the last time they faced the North Forrest Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Collins came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 50-39. The win made it back-to-back wins for Collins.
Collins had a senior duo take command as Latreyveon Lowe dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds and Jaylen Willingham scored 12 points along with four steals. Lowe is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan White, who scored five points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Collins' victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for North Forrest, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.
Collins will be playing at home against the Rebels at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Richton is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games. North Forrest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
