Horizon Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Hunter Beenken out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Beenken is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Johnson, who scored 14 points.
Promise Prepatory Academy are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 29.7 points per game. As for Horizon Christian Academy, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 10-10.
