After a string of three wins, Orting's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell to the Fife Trojans 56-51. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Trojans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February.

Orting's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3. As for Fife, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-5.
