The biggest upset of the week belonged to WestSide, who took down 62nd ranked WestSide, 18-12.
Mingo Central took down Hoover 44-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Wyoming East's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Aaron Griffith threw for 25 and one touchdown and Chase Lowman had 17 yards receiving. On the ground Jacob Summe chipped in 94 yards. Ty Treadway helped Wyoming East's passing attack out by catching one ball for six yards.
Chris Cecil made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Warriors defeated Liberty. The 6-foot-2 senior racked up 1.5 sacks.
5-foot-11 quarterback Jacob Thayer of Webster County is the league leader in passing yards this season with 988. He has also thrown nine touchdowns. On the ground, Greenbrier West's Malik Boatwright has rushed for 1490 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Josh Martin. The Greenbrier West star has 23 catches for 557 yards.
The Cavaliers' Tyler Parker is a mere 37 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 155 carries Parker has accumulated 963 yard this year.
The Miners led the league in scoring this week after putting up 44 points on the Huskies.
