After a string of three wins, St. Ansgar's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost to Hudson by a decisive 12-27 margin. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Ansgar of the 17-41 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head.
The loss dropped St. Ansgar's record to 4-2. The victory bumped Hudson's record up to 6-0.
Next week St. Ansgar take on South Winneshiek at 7:00 PM. As for Hudson, they will face off against Wapsie Valley. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a win streak alive as Hudson skips in on six wins and Wapsie Valley on three.
