Basketball Game Preview: St. George's vs. Heritage Preparatory Rams

St. George will challenge the Heritage Preparatory Rams at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. St. George's will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

St. George's is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat Twiggs Academy 70-30. Fans of St. George's have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Jules Gotell continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 16 for 29 on her way to 35 points and five steals. Her evening made it six games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Pressley Burson, who almost dropped a double-double on 19 points and nine rebounds.

Meanwhile, Heritage Preparatory had to suffer through a 62-29 loss at the hands of Furtah Prep. The Rams have struggled against the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

St. George's victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 18.8 points per game. As for Heritage Preparatory, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
