The Westside Rams waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins but they left with three. They managed a 48-42 win over Easley. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Westside also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
It was another big night for Zeke Marshall, who scored 34 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Joshua Williams was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five steals.
Despite the loss, Easley still got an impressive performance from Ethan Crews, who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Patton, who scored six points along with ten rebounds.
Westside has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Easley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-10.
Westside will be playing at home against Berea at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Easley, they will square off against Fountain Inn at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Fountain Inn is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
